I'VE NEVER HAD MY CLOTHES ALTERED- HOW DOES IT WORK?

It's painless. We promise! You simply come in with your garment, you tell us what you'd like to change (shorten, take-in, let-out, etc.), you leave the garment with us, and we work our magic (measuring, creating, cutting, sewing, ironing and sometimes more!). A few days later you come in to pick up your new and improved garment!

DO I NEED AN APPOINTMENT?

Currently, we're taking a limited amount of in-person fitting appointments as we're only operating at about 60% capacity due to the coronavirus. Fitting appointments are for formal wear only. Formal wear is any special event dress or suit (prom, wedding, bridesmaids, tuxedos, etc.). Reserve your spot as soon as possible to ensure a timely delivery date.

WHAT HAPPENS DURING MY FITTING APPOINTMENT?

First, we'll discuss what your alteration needs are. Next, you'll be measured and fitted to perfection by our master seamstress. She will give you her professional opinion to get you the best results. Finally, we'll discuss pricing and delivery dates. If you agree with everything, you leave your garment with us at that time.

DO I BRING ANYTHING TO MY FITTING APPOINTMENT?

Yes. If you are altering the length of any garment, please bring your shoes for proper height. If you are altering the top part of a dress, please bring your shapewear (strapless bra, Spanx, etc.) to obtain a proper fit.

WHAT IF I HAVE CASUAL CLOTHES TO ALTER?

At this time we are practicing contactless drop-off and pick-up for all causal wear clothing. Casual wear is everyday clothing (jeans, skirts, shirts, summer dresses, etc.). If you can pin or mark the fabric and/or if you can provide us with a sample garment to measure from, then we can alter it to your measurements. Contact us for more details.

DO YOU ALTER WEDDING GOWNS AND WHAT IS YOUR TURN-AROUND TIME?

Yes, we do! We recommend you come in for your first fitting at least 6-8 weeks from your wedding day.

WHEN AND HOW DO I PAY?

Most of our orders are paid when you pickup your items. Some orders will require 50% up front before starting any alterations. Cash, Venmo and Zelle are preferred forms of payment. We will gladly accept debit and credit cards.

DO YOU OFFER SAME-DAY OR EXPRESS SERVICES?

Sometimes! Currently, we're taking a limited number of orders as we're only operating at about 60% capacity. We always do our best to get you in if we can. While we would love to take care of every single rush order, it's simply not possible every time. It all depends on the day, the week and the current workload. Additional fees may apply for rush orders.

WHAT IS YOUR TURN-AROUND TIME?

Turn-around times can vary. Currently, we need about two weeks to complete most orders.

DO YOU TAKE SPECIAL REQUESTS?

Yes, if our workload permits it. Please call us for more information.

CAN YOU FIX MY BUSINESS SUIT?

Yes! We can alter suit jackets and suit pants. Turn around time for suit jackets is normally 1-2 weeks.

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?

Our cross streets are Cotton Ln and Greenway Rd. We're currently based out of our home. A third-car garage space was converted into a fully equipped professional alteration shop. There is a fitting room inside the shop.
