I'VE NEVER HAD MY CLOTHES ALTERED- HOW DOES IT WORK?

It's painless- we promise! You simply come in with your dress, you tell us what you'd like to change (shorten, take-in, let-out, etc.), you leave the dress with us, and we work our magic (measuring, cutting, sewing, ironing and more!). A few days/weeks later you can pick up your new and improved beautiful dress!

DO I NEED AN APPOINTMENT?

Yes!! Reserve your spot as soon as possible to ensure a timely completion date.

WHAT HAPPENS DURING MY FITTING APPOINTMENT?

First, we'll discuss your alteration needs. Next, you'll be measured and fitted to perfection by our Master Seamstress. She will give you her professional opinion for the best results. Finally, we'll discuss pricing and completion dates. If you agree with everything, you will leave your dress with us at that time.

WHAT IS YOUR TURN-AROUND TIME?

Turn-around times can vary. Normally we need about two weeks to complete most formal dress orders except for wedding dresses which can take up to 6-8 weeks.

DO YOU ALTER WEDDING GOWNS AND WHAT IS YOUR TURN-AROUND TIME?

Yes! We'd LOVE to alter your wedding dress! The first step is to come in for a fitting so we can discuss your alteration needs and gather your measurements. Our seamstress will then give you a price estimate. If the price works for you, your dress will stay with us for about 6-8 weeks. You may have to return for a second and third fitting depending on the complexity of the alterations. In regards to payments, 50% of the total price is due at your first fitting, and the other 50% can be paid when the dress is  completed. Please call for more details. 

DO I BRING ANYTHING TO MY FITTING APPOINTMENT?

Yes!! VERY IMPORTANT: If you are altering the length of any dress, please bring the shoes you plan to wear with the dress for the proper height. If you are altering the top part of a dress, please bring your shapewear (strapless bra, Spanx, etc.), if any, to obtain the best fit.

WHAT ARE YOUR PRICES?

Our prices are some of the lowest ones out there! Prices vary depending on several factors such as the complexity of the alteration, type of fabric, number of layers, size of dress, completion date (rush order) and many other details. 

WHEN AND HOW DO I PAY?

Some orders will require 50% up front before starting any alterations. Most orders can be paid at pickup. Cash, Venmo and Zelle are the preferred forms of payment. We will gladly accept debit and credit cards. No checks accepted. 

DO YOU OFFER SAME-DAY OR EXPRESS SERVICES?

Sometimes! While we would love to take care of every single rush order, it's simply not possible every time. It all depends on the day, the week and the current workload. We always do our best to get you in, if we can. Additional fees will apply for rush orders.

DO YOU ALTER MENSWEAR, CASUAL WEAR, JEANS, COSTUMES, OUTERWEAR, BEDDING OR CURTAINS?

No, not at this time, sorry.

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?

Our home based shop is conveniently located near Cotton Ln and Greenway Rd in Surprise, AZ. A third-car garage space was converted into a fully equipped professional alteration shop with a fitting room.
